670 Pacific
Brooklyn, NY, US
A block from the Barclays Arena in Downtown Brooklyn, NY, adjacent to the former New York Daily News building and at the edge of the Pacific Park neighborhood, stands the eight-story 86-unit development, 670 Pacific by KBA. 670’s exterior is composed of thin concrete Ivanka panels with black metal accents, weaving modern styles with the industrial elements typical of the neighborhood. As a nod to the nearby Cor-ten cladding for Barclay’s Arena, 670 Pacific employs a Cor-ten fence, water jet cut from a unique, digitally-scripted pattern. This standout fence along the property line permits individual front yards on the ground floor.
670 Pacific received a commendation at the World Architecture News Awards.
Micael led the concept and design at KBA.
